Welcome to OctoAscend Travel. By booking travel services with us, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities.

1. Our Services

 

OctoAscend Travel (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides travel planning, booking, and related services, including flights, accommodations, tours, activities, and custom itineraries. We act as an agent between you and third-party travel providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.).

 

2. Bookings & Payments

 

All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.

 

A deposit may be required to secure your booking; full payment deadlines vary by provider.

 

Final prices are confirmed at the time of booking. Exchange rates, supplier fees, and taxes may change before confirmation.

 

Payment must be made using accepted methods (credit card, e-transfer, or other as specified).

 

3. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

 

Each airline, hotel, or supplier has its own cancellation and refund policy. We will provide these details before you confirm your booking.

 

Our service fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.

 

Changes to bookings (dates, names, destinations) may result in additional fees set by suppliers.

 

Refunds, when permitted by suppliers, may take several weeks to process.

 

4. Traveler Responsibilities

 

Ensure that all travel documents (passports, visas, entry permits, vaccinations, insurance) are valid and up to date.

 

Verify that your name on travel documents matches your identification.

 

Arrive at airports or meeting points on time; missed departures are the traveler’s responsibility.

 

Follow all local laws and regulations while traveling.

 

5. Travel Insurance

 

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for medical coverage, cancellations, delays, and lost luggage. Travelers who decline insurance accept full responsibility for any financial loss.

 

6. Liability

 

OctoAscend Travel is not liable for acts, errors, or omissions of third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, transportation providers).

 

We are not responsible for cancellations, delays, weather conditions, strikes, pandemics, or events beyond our control.

 

Our liability is limited to the amount paid directly to OctoAscend Travel for services rendered.

 

7. Privacy & Data Use

 

We collect and use your personal information only to provide travel services and in accordance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA). Please refer to our [Privacy Policy] for details.

 

8. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be handled in BC courts.

 

9. Acceptance of Terms
